Afilia Kingdom Report

Hello, this is M, the concept-cafe writer!

This time I'm introducing a place on the eighth floor of a building about an 8-minute walk from Akihabara Station, but... when I took the elevator up, there it was: another world. It was Afilia Magic Kingdom. I know, you're thinking, "What are you even talking about."

This shop's concept is apparently a certain restaurant in a magic kingdom. It seems the cast are juniors from a magic school, and they call customers who come to the shop "senpai" (senior). (Let's not point out that I have no memory of graduating from any magic school.)

The charge fee is a bit complicated: it's normally 800 yen, and separately you can issue a CLASS Card for 500 yen. (Well, simply put, it's a membership card.) Once you issue a CLASS Card, you start accumulating MP, and every time you eat or drink, MP and EXP pile up, and once you've accumulated enough, you level up. I tried to listen properly, but it was a bit too complicated and I didn't understand what it meant. Still, well, as a souvenir, I made a CLASS Card. ...A credit card? I also got a 1,000 yen discount coupon. Apparently when you become an advanced mage, this card turns black.

To start accumulating MP right away, I looked at the menu, and there was cup ramen, so... (cup ramen?!) when I tried to order it, I was told it's a last-order-only item and couldn't order it. W-what does that mean? As I was confused, well, if it's no good then it can't be helped, so I ordered a hot coffee and a recommended pizza.

As a membership perk, they took one cheki photo of me, but... it's embarrassing, so I won't post it this time.
